Lived experience caring for a child with Covid-19 disease: A phenomenological study

BackgroundCaregivers of COVID-19 patients, including mothers with an infected child, are affected by adverse physical and psychological effects. Since perform important role in caring for a child Covid-19, explaining their challenges experiences positively affects the health conditions children society, general.AimThis study aimed to explain mothers' diagnosed COVID-19, who were referred Bandar Abbas Children's Hospital.MethodThe present was qualitative used Van-Manen method. The statistical population included 13 hospitalized coronary heart disease selected purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews implemented collect data until saturation. Data analysis performed using MAXQDA 10 software. Lincoln Guba's criteria evaluate data's accuracy strength.ResultsThe mean age participating 37.92 ± 4.87. On other hand, 5.15 2.07 years. Three main themes sub-themes extracted from analysis. “Inability Caring”, “Mental Physical drain” “Conflict Roles Responsibilities”. In this study, when develops disease, mother series negative emotions, which lead feelings helplessness inability care child.ConclusionMental manifestations strains most issues that experienced. majority participants need support cope disease. Therefore, it is recommended make proper design psychologically socially these mothers, while alleviating children's
